Oliver Needs

Oliver studied an Art Foundation at Chelsea School of Art and has a BA in Fine Art from East London University completed in 2004.

He finds great satisfaction and a sense of being through painting. His greatest inspiration growing up was Picasso and as a child he often travelled abroad to visit museums and galleries; the Museum of Modern Art in New York being a particular favourite.

He is intrigued with psychology and interpreting our world, space and time. Having explored a variety of styles in drawing and painting, he has grown particularly fond of the abstract expressionist movement. He hopes to offer new energy and pay homage to this movement whilst also engaging with his own ideas and expressions.
