Audrey was born in London and raised in the rather more exotic surroundings of Lima, Peru. Being surrounded by such a uniquely vibrant culture undoubtedly inspired her lifelong fascination with texture and shape. At the age of ten her family moved back to the UK, where she later took a Foundation course at the Chelsea School of Art, before graduating from the Royal Academy of Art.
She is endlessly fascinated by the curves of the female form. In the early days of her career, she tried to capture this on canvas, but found herself drawn to sculpture, which gave her greater freedom to express feminine curvaceousness. As a result, her figures are voluptuous, playful, joyous, tactile and life-enhancing.
