Amanda Ba Chinese-American

The works welcome a multitude of readings that exist at the amorphous crossroads of Asian diasporic identity, psychosexuality, and post-human theory.

Amanda Ba lives and works between New York City and London. She was Born in Columbus, Ohio, but spent the first five years of her life with her grandparents in Hefei, China. Currently, her work draws upon the critical theory of Mel Chen and Donna Haraway, specifically the concept of animacy extruded out and away from linguistics and applied to race and queer relations, and the nature cultural relations of the world at large.
